We’re back from playing an awesome show in New Haven with Nick Colionne at the John Lyman Center. And what a theater! As you can see from the picture this venue was huge, with lots of open space and plenty of room on the stage. The house was full, and the people were warm and welcoming.
The show almost had to be postponed thanks to a local power station rudely bursting into flames while we were sound checking. But the power came back on in time, no one was hurt, and we were able to kick off the show in style!
We’d like to thank those of you who managed to make it out to see our last scheduled show of the season. While we hear that some of you wanted us to play longer, and we wanted to, we had to leave time for Nick! Thanks go out to the other musicians who filled out Four80East — Matt Marshak, Art Sherrod Jr., Kenny Harris and Giampaolo Scatozza — for making the night a success.
We’ve had a lot of requests lately to add various cities to our 2015 calendar. While it is early days still, we’re not opposed to taking some suggestions for prospective locations or festivals for next year. We’ve heard people suggest Dallas, Chicago, Toronto… Any others? Let us know in the comments section or on Facebook and we’ll see what we can do.
